New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Starting January 1, investors will be able to get a consolidated view of their financial savings, including bank deposits, investments and securities, in a single monthly statement.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allowed Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi)-regulated depositories to include information on bank deposit accounts in the Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) through NBFC-Account Aggregators (AAs).

The move is aimed at giving investors a broader picture of their financial assets in one place.
