Chandigarh, May 14 -- union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries, Ravneet Singh Bittu, on Wednesday officially flagged off the inaugural run of the 14664 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat Express from the Amritsar Railway Station.

The ceremony was attended by senior railway officials, political leaders, and a large gathering of passengers, marking a significant enhancement in rail connectivity between Punjab and Eastern India.
