Agra, June 4 -- As the world marks World Environment Day, Rapdi Eco Tourism Zone in Firozabad is emerging as a compelling example of how Uttar Pradesh is using tourism development to strengthen conservation, environmental awareness and sustainable visitor experiences.
World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment.
Developed under the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board, Rapdi has gradually evolved from a relatively underexplored natural site into a planned eco tourism destination where nature-based recreation, renewable energy and biodiversity awareness have been integrated into the visitor experience.
