Mumbai , June 3 -- The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), a leading film trade union in Mumbai representing over 500,000 behind-the-scenes workers, on Wednesday withdrew its non-cooperation directive against actor Ranveer Singh, just days after the actor issued a legal notice in response to his exit from Don 3.
FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit while addressing a press conference, said the directive issued on May 25 was revoked after appeals from industry bodies such as the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) and the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA), citing the larger interest of the film industry.
