Bengaluru, April 10 -- What began as a brief moment of film appreciation has now turned into a courtroom-bound controversy, with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh agreeing to revise his apology in connection with the 'Kantara' mimicry row, after questions were raised over whether his earlier affidavit reflected genuine remorse.

The issue stems from Singh's remarks at the 55th International Film Festival of India in Goa, where he praised actor Rishab Shetty for his performance in 'Kantara' but also mimicked a depiction associated with Chamundi deity, triggering strong reactions and allegations of religious insensitivity.
