The issue stems from Singh's remarks at the 55th International Film Festival of India in Goa, where he praised actor Rishab Shetty for his performance in 'Kantara' but also mimicked a depiction associated with Chamundi deity, triggering strong reactions and allegations of religious insensitivity.
