Surat, Nov. 11 -- A brilliant all-round performance powered Bengal to a dominant innings and 120-run victory against Railways in the Ranji Trophy Elite match here on Tuesday.
Majumder and Shahbaz Ahmed starred for Bengal as they secured their first bonus point win of the Ranji Trophy campaign.
After four matches, Bengal, with three wins, have 20 points in their bag. After posting 474 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out Railways for 222.
Following on, Railways were bowled out for 132 in 55.5 overs on the fourth and final day.
Shahbaz Ahmed (7-56) was brilliant with the ball, recording his best bowling in an innings in First-Class cricket.
Rahul Prasad (2-41) and Md Kaif (1-10) also impressed with the ball for Bengal.
