Ranchi, Jan. 5 -- Under the state government's ambitious Universal Pension Scheme, pension amounts for January have been successfully disbursed to beneficiaries in Ranchi district.
A total of 2,50,309 beneficiaries received pension payments amounting to Rs 25.03 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Each eligible beneficiary was credited Rs 1,000 directly into their bank account.
The payments covered beneficiaries under multiple state-sponsored pension schemes, including the Chief Minister State Primitive Tribe Pension Scheme, HIV/AIDS Victim Assistance Pension Scheme, Chief Minister State Old Age Pension Scheme, Chief Minister Destitute Women Honor Pension Scheme, Swami Vivekananda Disabled Self-Reliance Incentive Scheme, and the ...
