Ranchi, Jan. 22 -- The parliamentary meeting of the Ranchi and Chakradharpur Railway Divisions was held in Ranchi, chaired by union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth. The Minister reviewed railway development works and directed officials to strengthen women passengers' safety, including deployment of women police on the Ranchi-Lohardaga Passenger train.
He instructed officials to send proposals for Holi special trains, a Ranchi-Muri shuttle, and new train services to major cities. Emphasis was laid on station redevelopment with protection of religious sites through dialogue with local committees.
