Ranchi, March 11 -- The Ranchi district administration on Wednesday said there is adequate supply of domestic LPG in the district and urged people not to panic over availability.

During a review meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri with representatives of IOC, BPCL and HPCL, gas companies assured that there was sufficient supply of LPG in the district.

Officials said consumers should avoid panic booking as a large number of booking requests had temporarily affected the companies' software systems, which are currently undergoing upgrades.

They added that consumers would be able to make the next LPG booking only after 25 days of the previous booking as per government guidelines.
