New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Friday accused the Narendra Modi government of failing to defend the dignity and interests of Indians in the United States, questioning its silence over what he termed a series of humiliating incidents involving Indian nationals and people of Indian origin.
In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his repeated references to US President Donald Trump as a "friend" and recalled the slogan "Abki Baar Trump Sarkar" used by Modi during his outreach to Indian-Americans during Trump's earlier presidential campaign.
