Thiruvananthapuram, July 15 -- Intensifying Kerala's crackdown on the narcotics menace, Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay in Chennai today to seek the neighbouring state's support for 'Operation Toofan - The Narco Hunt', the anti-drug campaign launched by the Kerala Home Department.
The meeting, scheduled for 11.30 am, is aimed at forging a coordinated inter-state strategy to identify drug hubs, curb the cross-border spread of narcotics, and dismantle drug trafficking networks operating across southern India. Securing the Tamil Nadu government's full cooperation for the campaign is the key objective of the talks.
