Ayodhya, Oct. 19 -- Devotees planning to visit the Ram Temple will no longer have to wait until the last minute for a pass as the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has made major changes to the online Sugam Darshan pass system.
Devotees can now apply for passes up to 90 days before the darshan date. The number of online passes for general devotees has also been increased from 975 to 2,000 per day.
According to officials the new system has provision for advance booking in seven stages and issuance of instant passes on the day of darshan. This will facilitate the devotees in making their travel, rail reservation and accommodation arrangements in advance.
Until now, Sugam Darshan passes were available a maximum of 15 days in advance...
