Jaipur, Aug. 30 -- The ruling BJP legislator from Rajsamand, Deepti Maheshwari was seriously injured in a road accident near Udaipur in Rajasthan on Friday mid-night.
The two timer MLA was returning home in Udaipur from her constituency Rajsamand after attending various programmes last night when her car was hit by another car coming from the opposite side, near Amberi on Rajsamand - Udaipur Highway around 01:00 PM.
Maheshwari sustained multiple rib fractures, she was rushed to a private Medical College Hospital in Udaipur where she was being treated in the ICU ward.
The MLA's driver and PA were also injured in the accident.
