New Delhi, April 10 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday visited the residence of Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva to offer condolences on the demise of his father, Shyam Lal Sachdeva, and paid floral tributes in his memory.
Shyam Lal Sachdeva passed away on April 7 at the age of 94.
The last rites of Shyam Lal Sachdeva were performed at Nigam Bodh Ghat on Wednesday in the presence of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, several other dignitaries, and a large number of BJP workers.
