New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday began a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka, with talks with the country's top leadership expected to focus on strengthening bilateral defence and maritime cooperation as well as a range of regional and strategic issues.
Singh is leading a high-level Indian delegation comprising senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of External Affairs. During his visit to Colombo, he is also scheduled to interact with members of the Indian diaspora.
