New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday saluted the courage and sacrifice of Indian Army infantrymen on Shaurya Diwas, honouring their role in defending the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity from the battlefields of 1947 to the challenging frontiers of today.
"On Shaurya Diwas, I salute the extraordinary courage, valour and sacrifice of the brave Infantrymen of the Indian Army," Singh said in a post on X.
He said infantrymen had stood firm when the odds were overwhelming and made the supreme sacrifice to protect the nation.
