Jodhpur, May 14 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's capability and acumen of negotiating well and stitching trade agreements with as many as 38 countries amid an adverse world scenario of tariff wars.

Addressing a public meeting after unveiling the statue of former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on the eve of the latter's death anniversary here, Singh also praised the PM for his appeal to the people for observing austerity for the sake saving the foreign currency reserve of India from being depleted in the wake of the West Asia crisis.
