New Delhi, July 16 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today participated in the Jagannath Rath Yatra organised by the Shri Jagannath Temple at Tyagraj Nagar in the national capital, describing the centuries-old festival as a symbol of India's "eternal cultural heritage, social harmony, and the spirit of public welfare".
Singh joined the procession along with Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra for peace, prosperity, progress and the well-being of the nation and its people.
