Prithviraj SinghDehradun, March 21 -- A day after Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expanded his cabinet with the induction of five new faces, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called him 'Dhurandhar' of politics who will steer the BJP through in the 2027 assembly polls.
Rajnath Singh made the statement while addressing a rally in Haldwani on Saturday.
Addressing the rally, the Defence Minister said that Dhami has now emerged as a "Dhurandhar" of politics and evolved as a seasoned and formidable leader in the state.
On a previous occasion, Rajnath Singh had addressed the Uttarakhand CM as "Dhaakad Dhami" before the Uttarakhand assembly elections in 2022.
