Shimla, May 21 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary, observed across the country as Anti-Terrorism Day.

The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the late Congress leader at Sadbhawana Chowk in Chhota Shimla and recalled his contribution towards strengthening India's technological and democratic framework.

Interacting with mediapersons on the occasion, Sukhu said the Congress party had lost two of its Prime Ministers, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, in the fight against terrorism in the country.
