Patna, May 17 -- The Tourism Department and Nalanda district administration have completed preparations for the annual Rajgir Malmas Mela, scheduled to be held from May 17 to June 15 in Rajgir.

Tourism Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh said here today that extensive arrangements have been made to ensure convenience and safety for pilgrims and visitors. Temporary accommodation has been set up with German hangar tents near Rajgir State Guest House for around 2,000 pilgrims and additional facilities for 1,000 persons each at Rajgir Railway Station campus, near Brahmakund, and close to the Mela police station.
