Jaipur, Jan. 31 -- A young man of Pokaran region, in the bordering Jaisalmer district, accused of spying and passing on sensitive defence related information to Pakistani handlers, has been remanded to CID intelligence custody until February 4, 2026.

According to Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) Prafulla Kumar, the 28-year-old accused Jabara Ram of Nedan village in Pokaran area was accused of spying for the Pakistan Intelligence agency (ISI) for around two years.

After falling in a honey trap, he was in regular touch with at least three Pakistani handlers through social media (WhatsApp etc) and has so far supplied sensitive defence information even during Operation Sindoor, Kumar said.
