Jaipur, Aug. 26 -- The Rajasthan High Court has denied bail to former Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Minister Mahesh Joshi in the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scam case.
The bench of Justice Pravir Bhatnagar on Tuesday passed the ordered dismissing the bail petition filed by accused Joshi after the trial court - the ED Cases Special Court-, judge had dismissed his bail petition on June 13, 2025.
Joshi was arrested on April 24 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in case lodged under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 for alleged scam of Rs 900 crore. The ED's state office had earlier served the ex-Congress MLA with 4 summons - thrice last year, the fourth one in April this year. The charge sheet in the case was als...
