Jaipur, Sept. 1 -- The monsoon session of the Rajasthan assembly began on a stormy note today, with protests from both the Opposition and ruling BJP benches forcing Speaker Vasudev Devnani to adjourn the House within half an hour until Wednesday, after obituary references and the introduction of four bills.
The uproar began soon after the Assembly met at 11am, when leader of Opposition Tika Ram Jully led Congress members into the well, waving placards and chanting slogans of 'vote chor gaddi chhod".
Speaker Devnani objected strongly to the disruption and cautioned members to maintain order and dignity of the House. But his warning went unheard, with treasury benches responding with counter-slogans such as "Gaalibaaz Rahul Gandhi" and "Gaa...
