Jaipur, June 9 -- A Special ACB Court today remanded to police custody six persons, including a non governmental director of the Rajasthan State Seeds Corporation, arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in case of seizure of spurious seeds and recovery of suspected bribe money of Rs 2.44 crore.
The accused director Jugal Kishore Bishnoi, his nephew Swatantra Bishnoi and 4 others were arrested on Sunday and produced before the court today. The court has remanded them in ACB custody until June 12.
While Swatantra Bishnoi was arrested from a bus while he was carrying suspected bribe money amounting Rs 85,000, his uncle Jugal was arrested from latter's residence after recovery of Rs 1.59 crore during search by ACB. Others were nabbed in...
