Jaipur, April 8 -- The works on the 41-km North-South Corridor Jaipur Metro phase- II between Todi Mod-Ambabari-Airport-Sitapura and Prahladpura- is set to begin soon with the union Cabinet according approval to Rs 13,038 crore project today.
The major project has been entrusted for implementation to the Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation (RMRCL) that is a 50:50 joint venture entity of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, an official spokesman informed here.
This is targeted to be completed in 5 years.
The Phase-2 corridor will connect to major activity hubs such as Sitapura Industrial Area, VKIA, Jaipur (Sanganer Airport, Tonk Road, SMS Hospital, SMS Stadium, Ambabari and Vidhyadhar Nagar. It includes underground stati...
