Chandigarh, Oct. 23 -- Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has questioned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government on whether it will release the pending dues for women along with the proposed monthly allowance of Rs 1,000.

In a statement issued yesterday, Warring referred to reports suggesting that the AAP government plans to provide Rs 1,000 per month to women in Punjab starting next year. He remarked that women in the state already feel deceived, as the promise had been made long ago but not fulfilled.
