Jaipur, July 14 -- The Rajasthan High Court on Monday dismissed petitions against the "encroachment" demolition drive being carried out by authorities in the border belt of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sriganganagar and Bikaner, holding that "the issue of National Security is Supreme (paramount)".
Dismissing the petitions, a Single Bench of Justice Sameer Jain held that normally followed procedural rules of natural justice can be relaxed or dropped to the demands of national security.
