Jaipur, Feb. 18 -- Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has announced the launch of 238 development works for the projects or facilities in various sectors that involves additional allocation of around Rs 2,500 crore.
Replying to proposals or suggestions from the members made in the 4-day general debate on Budget 2026-27 in the state assembly last evening, Diya Kumari, who also holds the Finance portfolio, accepted demands of various works raised by the MLAs.
However, she refuted accusations from the Opposition Congress about curtailment in the budget under different heads. The Minister has proposed sanction of 133 new roads in different parts of the state by earmarking Rs 690 crore for the works.
