Jaipur, May 17 -- A young pregnant woman succumbed to post surgery complications today after a minor operation at the Kota Medical College Hospital earlier this month on May 6.
According to victim's family and the hospital sources, Shireen - with 5 month pregnancy - was brought to the hospital on May 6 for routine periodical check up. After check up she was advised a minor surgery, for which the family accepted and gave requisite consent.
However, after the (minor) operation on May 6, the patient's condition showed signs of deterioration. She developed urinary and blood pressure-related complications. The worried kith and kin shifted her to a private hospital, but they were compelled to bring her back to Medical College hospital yesterday...
