Panchkula, Aug. 2 -- Showers are set to sweep across much of Northwest India this week, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts steady, widespread rainfall in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab from August 3 to 6.
Meanwhile, the Western Himalayan region is poised to soak up even more persistent precipitation.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC)i, in its weather bulletin issued at 5 pm IST on August 2, there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures over the plains of Northwest India during the next five days.
