Panchkula, Aug. 30 -- Rainfall activity is likely to remain active across several parts of the country during the coming days, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting heavy to very heavy rain over parts of northwest, central, eastern and northeastern India and isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Odisha on Sunday.

According to the IMD's All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8.30 am on August 30, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over the remaining parts of northwest India, while rainfall activity over the western Himalayan region is expected to become considerably more widespread.
