Pune, Aug. 31 -- Rainfall activity is expected to continue across several parts of Maharashtra over the next few days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting light to moderate showers in many districts till September 2.
The latest regional forecast indicates widespread rainfall over Konkan and Goa, while isolated to scattered showers are likely over parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha.
Along the Konkan coast, moderate showers are likely in several areas. Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall during the period. Cloudy weather and intermittent showers are likely to continue, particularly in coastal areas.
