Shimla, April 30 -- Light to moderate rainfall over the past two days has brought notable relief from rising temperatures across many parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Kufri and other parts in the Shimla district witnessed rains accompanied by hail.

According to reports from the Meteorological Centre, the wet spell has led to a drop in daytime temperatures in districts including Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, Solan, and Chamba.

In many areas, maximum temperatures have fallen below normal levels.
