Visakhapatnam, July 9 -- The Indian Railways today announced the operation of special trains between Visakhapatnam and Puri and Jagdalpur and Puri to facilitate passenger travel during the Rath Yatra (Car Festival) 2026 at Puri.
According to the East Coast Railway, Train No. 08551 Visakhapatnam-Puri Special Express will depart from Visakhapatnam at 12.30 pm on July 15 and July 23, reaching Puri at 9.30 pm on the same day.
In the return direction, Train No. 08552 Puri-Visakhapatnam Special Express will leave Puri at 2.30 am on July 17 and July 25 and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 11.05 am.
The service will operate two trips in each direction.
