New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- The East Coast Railway has directed its divisions to organise workshops on the four new Labour Codes and hold discussions with trade unions and employees to address misconceptions and prepare railway personnel for their implementation.
In an order, the railway said workshops could be organised at the divisional level by Assistant Labour Commissioners and Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners who have expertise in the subject.
The four codes covered by the communication are the Code on Wages, 2019; the Industrial Relations Code, 2020; the Code on Social Security, 2020; and the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
