Panchkula, July 14 -- In two significant decisions affecting railway employees across the country, the Railway Board has made the issuance of Duty Passes completely digital from July 15, 2026, while also revising the rules governing voluntary retirement to prevent employees facing disciplinary or judicial proceedings from leaving service without approval.
The twin measures are aimed at promoting digital governance and strengthening administrative accountability.
