Chennai, Feb. 15 -- union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said in line with Indian Railways' resolve to undertake "52 reforms in 52 weeks" during 2026, two new reformsare approved by the Indian Railways and their implementation will commence immediately.
He said that reforms are not one-time events but a continuous process.
The impact is visible today as Indian Railways has become the second largest cargo carrier in the world, with new generation trainsand new ways of working emerging across the system, he said, according to a Southern Railway and PIB release here.
