New Delhi, March 24 -- In a significant boost to rail connectivity and capacity enhancement, the Indian Railways has approved two major infrastructure projects, the Kosamba Rail Over Rail Flyover in Gujarat and the Bhagalpur Bypass in Bihar.
Together worth Rs 647.58 crore, the projects aim to ensure uninterrupted and safer movement of trains along critical high-traffic routes, enhancing connectivity, easing congestion and improving operational efficiency.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Railways, the approved works include constructing a Rail Over Rail (RoR) flyover at Kosamba to facilitate connectivity to the Kosamba-Umrapada gauge conversion section in Gujarat, along with developing a new rail bypass at Bhagalpur in Bihar....
