Hyderabad, July 11 -- union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said the Narendra Modi government has significantly accelerated railway development in Telangana by increasing the state's railway budget from Rs 880 crore during the erstwhile UPA regime to Rs 5,454 crore at present.
Addressing the media after interacting with industry leaders here, Vaishnaw said railway infrastructure across Telangana is undergoing a major transformation.
