Aizawl, Aug. 19 -- Mizoram's two major connectivity projects could open up new economic opportunities for the state, but the benefits will depend heavily on advance preparations, better regulation and stronger links between local producers and emerging markets, according to an impact study submitted to the state government.

The Impact Study Committee on the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP) and the Bairabi-Sairang Railway Link submitted its Final Draft Report to Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Sunday, completing a task originally assigned to it for 12 months in just 10 months.
