Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Aug. 13 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Allahabad High Court's order on a petition by BJP worker S Vignesh Shishir alleging that the Congress leader possesses assets disproportionate to his known sources of income and seeking a probe against him and members of his family.
Gandhi has also filed a separate petition seeking transfer of the proceedings from the High Court to the Supreme Court.
The matter is listed for hearing on Monday, August 17, before a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi, and Justice V Mohana.
