Ravi SarafNew Delhi, June 21 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday held one-on-one discussions with senior Punjab party leaders in New Delhi, as the party steps up preparations for the upcoming Punjab assembly elections and looks to resolve internal differences.
The meeting, held at 10 Janpath, lasted nearly two hours and was attended by key Punjab Congress leaders including state party chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi, and senior leaders Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
According to sources, Gandhi held separate interactions with each leader to review the political situation in Punjab and the state organisation structure.
