New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Sunday greeted tribal communities on World Tribal Day, describing them as the "first owners" of the country and emphasising the importance of protecting their cultural heritage and traditional rights over natural resources.
In a post on social media platform X, Gandhi extended his greetings to tribal people across the country and highlighted their historical and cultural contribution to India.
