Chandigarh, Feb. 28 -- Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party National President Mallikarjun Kharge arrived in Barnala to address a massive public gathering, marking the official launch of the Congress campaign for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
Termed the "Kisan-Mazdoor Rally" or "MNREGA Bachao Sangram," the event is strategically focused on the Malwa region, a traditional stronghold of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), where Congress recently won the Barnala by-election.
