New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- The 2026 Indian professional golf season is set for a new high-stakes finish with the launch of the Race to DP World India Championship, a season-long competition that will determine the DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion, qualifiers for the DP World India Championship and playing rights for the 2027 season.
Launched jointly by DP World and the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI), the new format is designed to make consistency across the season count while creating a direct pathway for India's leading golfers to compete against a world-class field.
