Chennai, Jan. 26 -- The Kamarajar Port Limited (KPL), a company of Chennai Port Authority under the union Ministryof Ports, Shipping and Waterways, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour, highlighting its strong operationalperformance, infrastructure expansion, sustainability initiatives, and contribution to nation-building, today.
The National Flag was unfurled by Ms J. P. Irene Cynthia, Managing Director, KPL.
In her address, she outlined the port's achievements and future roadmap in alignment with Maritime India Vision 2030.
The celebrations were enriched by cultural performances by students of 38 Government schools with participation from KPLofficials, employees, port users, and residents of neighbouring villages.
