New Delhi, May 26 -- The Quad alliance launched a sweeping package of maritime, infrastructure, and critical minerals initiatives on Tuesday, with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio declaring that the four-nation grouping has moved decisively and "aggressively" from talk to action and now delivering "real concrete achievables" to the world.
"We are beginning to do that pretty aggressively and pretty impressively," Rubio said alongside the foreign ministers of India, Japan, and Australia in New Delhi, in what he described as the most operationally significant Quad ministerial to date.
