Geneva, March 24 -- Qatar has alleged that arbitrary arrests and inhuman treatment of Palestinians by Israel have become a "structural feature" of what it described as an ongoing genocide, calling the actions grave violations of international law during a session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The remarks were made by Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Hend bint Abdalrahman Al Muftah, during an interactive dialogue under Item 7 at the 61st session of the Human Rights Council.
