Kuala Lumpur, June 12 -- Former champion PV Sindhu will lead a 10-strong Indian contingent at the BWF World Championships 2026 in New Delhi after the global federation finalised the qualification list for the tournament, which runs from August 17 to 23.
Sindhu, who won the world badminton title in 2019 and claimed silver medals in 2017 and 2018, secured her place in the women's singles draw as India's host representative under Badminton World Federation (BWF) qualification rules.
The qualification list, based on the world badminton rankings of April 28, features 64 players each in men's and women's singles and 48 pairs in each doubles discipline.
India will have two direct entrants in every category at the World Badminton Championships....
